Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of seattlehockey.net, an independent comparison site covering offshore sportsbooks that accept US bettors. By reading, clicking a link or otherwise using the site, you accept what follows. If you don't agree with it, the simplest course is to stop using the site.
Last reviewed: September 24, 2026. We update this page when our commercial arrangements, editorial process or the legal picture change materially.
Who may use this site
Offshore Sportsbooks is intended for adults aged 21 or over. Some offshore sportsbooks set 18 as their minimum age; we still publish for a 21+ audience, and you should treat 21 as the threshold here regardless of what an individual operator accepts. Nothing on this site is designed to appeal to anyone below that age.
You are responsible for knowing the law where you live. Sports betting in the United States is regulated state by state, and the position varies widely:
- Some states license and regulate online sportsbooks through a state gaming commission or racing and gaming board, with consumer protections attached.
- Some states allow retail betting only, or online betting through a single state-run platform.
- Some states prohibit online sports betting entirely, and a few restrict or criminalize placing bets with unlicensed operators.
The sportsbooks we cover are licensed offshore — commonly in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica — and accept US players. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized to serve them. For a bettor in the US, offshore betting sites sit in a legal grey area: they are not licensed by any US state, they carry no US state player protections, and no state gaming commission will resolve a dispute on your behalf. Check your own state's laws before you deposit, and treat anything here about legality or taxes as general information rather than advice. Consult a qualified attorney or tax professional about your own situation.
What this site is, and what it is not
Offshore Sportsbooks publishes research, comparisons and rankings. We do not accept wagers, hold customer funds, issue bonuses, process payments or operate any betting platform. Every account you open is a contract between you and that operator, under that operator's own terms and conditions — not ours.
That distinction matters most when something goes wrong. If a withdrawal is delayed, a bonus is voided, a bet is graded in a way you dispute or an account is closed, the operator's terms and its own complaints process govern the outcome. We have no authority to reverse a decision, release funds or arbitrate. We are happy to hear about it through our contact page, because patterns in reader reports feed into our ratings, but we cannot act as an intermediary.
Commercial disclosure and how rankings are decided
We earn money through affiliate partnerships. If you click a link to a sportsbook and open an account, the publisher may receive a commission from that operator. You pay nothing extra, and the terms you receive are the ones the operator publishes.
Commission does not buy position. Operators cannot pay for a higher rank, a higher editorial rating or the removal of a criticism. Our ratings are editorial scores produced by our own assessment — they are not customer review averages, not operator-supplied scores, and not a measure of how much a partner pays.
Ratings on this site are assessed on:
- Odds and pricing — how competitive the point spread, moneyline and totals prices are, and whether reduced juice is genuinely available or limited to a narrow set of markets.
- Market coverage — depth across NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA and horse racing, plus futures, prop bets, parlays, same-game parlays and live betting.
- Banking — cryptocurrency betting support, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer and voucher or player transfer options, with the fees and limits attached.
- Payout speed and reliability — advertised withdrawal timeframes, payout limits, withdrawal fees and the operator's public track record of paying.
- Verification, security and support — KYC requirements, site security, and how customer support is staffed.
- Mobile experience — whether betting apps or mobile browser play work properly for US bettors.
We research and verify; we do not claim to have tested, deposited, played or withdrawn at these sites. Where a figure comes from operator advertising rather than independent verification, we say so. Advertised payout speeds are advertised speeds, not measured results. Our full approach and the people behind it are described on the about page.
Offers, bonuses and the terms that come with them
Where we show a headline offer, it is the operator's advertised promotion at the time of our last review. Offers change without notice, may be region-restricted, and may not be available to every reader. The operator's own bonus terms always override anything summarized here. Before you claim anything, read the rollover requirement, minimum odds, qualifying deposit, time limit, excluded markets and maximum cashout on the operator's site.
The three highest-rated sportsbooks in our current list illustrate why the fine print matters more than the headline number.
Lucky Rebel — top of our list, and the offer with the most conditions to read
Lucky Rebel holds our highest editorial rating at 10.0, largely on the breadth of its crypto banking and the spread of its welcome package. The advertised offer is a 125% welcome bonus up to $1,250 plus a 50 free bet. That is two separate components, and in our experience of reading offshore bonus terms, each typically carries its own rollover, minimum odds and expiry — verify both on the operator's terms page before depositing, because a free bet attached to a deposit match is not free money and the stake is not usually returned with winnings.
Limitation: Lucky Rebel is a newer name than most of the sportsbooks we cover, which means it has a shorter public track record of paying withdrawals than long-established rivals. A high editorial score reflects the current product, not decades of history. Treat early deposits conservatively.
Bovada — the long track record, with tighter bonus ceilings
Bovada earns 9.8 and appears here because it is one of the most widely used offshore sportsbooks among US bettors, with deep NFL, NBA and MLB coverage and an established crypto payout process. The advertised welcome bonus is 50% up to $250. Rollover, minimum odds and the qualifying deposit window are set by Bovada and must be checked before you claim; a smaller match with a lower rollover can be worth more than a large headline figure with a punishing one.
Limitation: the $250 ceiling is modest against the rest of this list, and Bovada is known for restricting or limiting accounts it considers sharp. If you have been limited by regulated US betting sites, expect the same possibility here.
BetOnline — broad markets, but read the free bet mechanics
BetOnline scores 9.6 and is on this page for market depth: props, same-game parlays, live betting and non-US sports that regulated online sportsbooks often restrict. The advertised welcome offer is $250 in free bets. Free bet promotions usually require a qualifying deposit and wager, carry minimum odds and expire — the specifics are BetOnline's to publish and yours to read.
Limitation: a busy interface and promotions that shift frequently mean the terms you read today may not be the terms next month. Screenshot the conditions you accepted.
The remaining operators in our list carry the same principle. Their advertised offers, as we recorded them, are below — always with the operator's own rollover and eligibility rules applying.
| Sportsbook | Advertised welcome offer | Editorial rating |
|---|---|---|
| BetNow | 125% up to $2,500 | 9.6 |
| Everygame | 100% up to $500 | 9.4 |
| BetUS | 100% up to $2,000 sports, 25% casino | 9.3 |
| Sportsbetting | 50% up to $250 in free bets | 9.1 |
| Xbet | 50% up to $200 on credit card deposits | 9.1 |
| MyBookie | 100% up to $1,000 for new players | 9.1 |
| ApuestaHoy | 200% welcome offer | 8.7 |
None of these figures should be read as an amount you will receive or keep. Every one is subject to wagering requirements and eligibility rules set by the operator.
Money, payments and the risks we cannot remove
We do not process deposits or withdrawals and we hold no funds. Costs, limits and timings belong to the operator, and you should confirm each before you commit money. In general terms, the methods US bettors encounter at offshore sportsbooks are cryptocurrency, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer services and voucher or player-to-player transfers. Crypto is usually the fastest route out and often the only one with low or no withdrawal fee; card deposits are frequently declined by US issuers; wires and money transfers tend to be slower and carry the highest fixed fees and the highest minimums.
Three risks are specific to this market and we will not soften them:
- An offshore sportsbook may delay or refuse payment. There is no US regulator to appeal to, no segregated-funds requirement you can rely on and no guaranteed payout. Withdrawals can be held for KYC checks, capped by payout limits, or contested under bonus terms.
- Crypto prices move. If you deposit in Bitcoin and withdraw days later, the dollar value can fall regardless of how your bets went. Conversion in and out costs money too.
- You can lose everything you stake. Betting is not income and is not a way to fix a financial problem. Any tips, previews or analysis on this site are opinion — there is no such thing as a lock, and we make no guarantee of winnings or profit.
Our side-by-side breakdown of deposit routes, fees and payout timing sits on the crypto banking comparison, which is worth reading before you pick a method.
What you get from these sportsbooks — and the other products they run
The sites we compare are sportsbooks first. Coverage typically spans NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, college sports, soccer, golf, MMA, tennis and motorsport, with point spread, moneyline, totals, futures, parlays, same-game parlays and prop bets, plus live in-play markets during games. Several also run a racebook for horse racing, which prices and settles differently from fixed-odds sports betting.
Most of these operators also run adjacent products under the same account and wallet: online casino sections with slots and table games, live dealer rooms, poker and in some cases esports or virtual sports. Bonus terms usually differ by product — BetUS, for example, advertises separate sports and casino percentages — and a sports bonus rollover is rarely clearable on casino play. Our editorial focus is the sportsbook side; where we mention a casino, it is context, not a recommendation of that product.
Accuracy, and the limits of what we publish
We aim to keep odds descriptions, banking details, bonus figures and licensing references accurate as of the review date shown on each page. Offshore operators change terms, payment options and market availability frequently and without notice. We make no warranty that content on seattlehockey.net is complete, current or error-free, and to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on it. The operator's site is always the authoritative source for its own terms.
We do not verify licences beyond what an operator publicly states, and we do not present an offshore licence as equivalent to US state authorization. It is not.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
Editorial content, rankings, tables and original commentary on this site belong to Offshore Sportsbooks. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish pages wholesale, scrape the site at scale, or present our ratings as your own. Operator names and logos belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only.
You agree not to use the site to break the law in your jurisdiction, to attempt to interfere with its operation, or to access it on behalf of anyone under 21.
Responsible gambling
Bet only what you can afford to lose, set limits before you start, and never bet to recover losses or to escape stress. Offshore sportsbooks frequently lack the deposit limits, cooling-off periods, reality checks and self-exclusion schemes that state-regulated operators are required to provide — if those tools matter to you, that absence is a real reason to stay away.
If gambling is causing harm to you or someone close to you, help is available 24/7 in the US at 1-800-GAMBLER. Our responsible gambling resources page lists further support and practical steps for setting limits.
Changes to these terms, and how to reach us
We may revise this page as the site, our partnerships or the regulatory picture change. The review date at the top reflects the most recent update, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. There is no notification service; if these terms matter to you, check the date when you return.
Questions about this page, a correction to a review, or a factual error you have spotted can go through the contact form. We read everything, and corrections are the fastest way to improve a comparison site.
